North meadows Family Dental is Hiring a Dental Front Desk Near Medfield, MA

An established dental practice in Medfield seeks a Front Desk receptionist, who is proactive and reliable. You will work as part of our administrative team to assist in the day-to-day operations of the practice. Tasks include opening and closing the practice and effectively communicating with patients. We are an established practice of three doctors and four hygienists that provide top notch dental service to the Medfield community.

Experience and education requirement

  • 2 years’ experience in a medical office preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (bachelor’s degree preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the practice.
  • Greet and register patients as patients arrive, update their contact information, collect necessary forms.
  • Foster and maintain good relations with all staff and patients and represent the practice with the highest standards within the community.
  • Check insurance benefits and explain insurance coverage to patients.
  • Work on scheduling.
  • File insurance claims and send out statements.
  • Maintain a professional appearance of the patient reception area and the front office.

Requirements

  • Ability to commute to the practice early in the morning to open doors.
  • Punctual and committed to their weekly schedule.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Able to learn and use new computer software.
  • Previous experience as a front desk agent or in a similar role preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational skills and effective multitasking skills.

Hours Per Week

  • Part-time/ Full-time
  • office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:20am-5pm, Tuesday 10am-7pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
